OOC Information
NAME: Al
AGE: 25
OTHER CHARACTERS PLAYED: Beastboy, Jinx, Harley Quinn

IC Information
CHARACTER NAME: The Great and Powerful Trixie
AGE: adult in pony years
CANON: My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic
CANON POINT: Taken from the battle of Ponyvillie against the forces of Nightmare Rarity in the Friendship is magic comics.
FAMILY TYPES:

Dark Area: Trixie's greatest weakness is her pride, and because of her damaged pride she became obsessive and desperate to seek revenge against Twilight Sparkle. It was this wounded pride that drove her to put all her savings into purchasing the Alicorn Amulet so she could return to Ponyville and humiliate Twilight Sparkle once and for all. But when humiliation wasn't enough, her greed kicked in and she used the power of the Amulet to take over ponyville. Once in charge she treated all the ponies in a cruel manner, enslaving them, humiliating them and working them to pain and exhaustion. Laughing all the way.

NIGHTMARE SOLDIERS: Trixie's darkside has been seen to be as cold, cruel and exceptionally selfish. The more she fed into her own darkness as influenced by the Alicorn Amulet the more her pride, greed and ambition became apparent. By the end of the affair she was ready to take over all of Equestria. While her defeat at the horn of Twilight sparkle, as well as removing the Amulets tainting effects from her has purged some of this darkness from her, it still lingers in the depths of her heart and she does her best to ignore it.

UNKNOWN: Trixie's defeat at the horn of Twilight Sparkle has taught her a lesson in humility that has stuck fast for the time being. While she is still proud, boastful, and willing to prank others on occasion she has also risked life and limb to protect Ponyville from a horde of Moon creatures. She offered comforting words for Princess Luna that "Everyone deserves a second chance" and with her second chance Trixie's future in either good or evil is in question.

METAL EMPIRE: Despite being a performer and loving the adoration of her crowds, Trixie has been shown to be exceptionally cold when confronted by them directly. She will belittle or mistreat her fans, even downright abusing members of the audience in order to win the affections of others.

APPEARANCE: Trixie is unaware of humans but she happens to look like her Equestrian high counterpart with white hair, blue skin and long arms and legs. She is about average height for a teenage girl. She does have thicker thighs and a curved bottom as a side affect of her affinity for sweets. But ultimately very average. And that will just drive her nuts. She does not have her horn.

PERSONALITY:

Trixie's first and most obvious trait is her pride. It could be said that performers all hold a modicum of confidence and pride as part of their chosen profession. It takes those sorts of things to get up on stage in front of people (or ponies) and ensure they are giving you all of their attention. Trixie however feeds off such attention to the point that her confidence, pride and unmitigated ego have ballooned to an irritating level. She has become so full of herself that she enjoys speaking in the third person...loudly.

While some buy into her confidence, to others it is just irritating and boastful. And that has to do alot with how she presents it. When confronted about her actual skill as opposed to her boasting she becomes even more condescending and belittling. She tries to make all others feel less important and amazing so that they have no choice but to regard her with respect and awe. The effectiveness of this tactic varies.

She is also a vain and selfish pony, unwilling to give her fans anymore of her time and energy then necessary. She prefers that they dote and fawn over her when she desires and then leave her alone when she doesn't. Adequate time must be spent grooming herself as well as getting her beauty rest. When eager young fans try to impress their attentions and affections upon her, they are met with disdain and callousness.

She does tend to lie and fib, bending the truth to her benefit. In fact many of her stories of adventure and heroics are either completely made up, or stolen from other ponies so that Trixie can insert herself as the hero. Alternatively she'll take much smaller adventures that she has actually had an inflate them into more impressive grandiose tales to make herself seem all the more impressive.

Only when her back is to the wall and her life, and way of life is being threatened will she confess the truth behind her boasting and lies. She does so with shame and self pity, that quickly fades away as soon as the danger is gone. Then when she has been caught in her lies and sees no way out she chooses to run away rather then face the consequences of her actions.

When her way of life began to fall apart, she had lost the respect and admiration of crowds due to how quickly word traveled from ponyville of her true nature. This led to her becoming colder, more obsessed with revenge. She scrimped and saved and somehow managed to scrape together enough bits to purchase an item of great power purely for the purpose of revenge against Twilight Sparkle. This was the beginning of a dark turn in her personality. While much of it can be blamed on the corrupting madness of the Alicorn necklace, some aspects of that personality were derived from Trixie herself, and merely magnified or twisted about. Her selfish nature became even self centered and proud, insisting on massive banners of her visage. She became power hungry, more ambitious then ever. And she treated those under her power with cruelty and spite.

Still in the end, when she had been shown the error of her ways she was humbled. So much that she aided Twilight Sparkle's presentation with fireworks while standing off to the side where she would not receive credit for it. This was of particular importance to note because there were very important, respected pony world leaders attending Twilight's performance and Trixie chose to remain off stage and give Twilight the aid and credit for the fireworks as an apology. This was of course followed by a good natured, self serving boast about just how humble and apologetic she really was before once again running off rather then having to deal with an awkward goodbye.

She hasn't entirely learned her lesson, as seen in the comic series. She still puts on shows where she claims to have bravely stood up to and defeated the Ursa major, and in puppet shows she even includes a Twilight Sparkle puppet so she can claim that she rescued Twilight rather then the other way around. However what she has learned stuck with her, as she stood alongside Princess Celestia and told a depressed and disheartened Princess Luna that "Everypony deserves a second chance."

While not particularly brave on her own (Except for being on stage) Trixie has been shown to fight with courage alongside the other citizens of Ponyville when they were being invaded by the forces of Nightmare Rarity. The fact that she keeps appearing in the area in the comics would indicate that the citizens of ponyville have at least forgiven her enough for all the trouble she's caused that they don't mind her hanging around, coming to their festivals and putting on puppet shows for the children.

As for her relationships with other ponies...she doesn't have many. Moving from town to town alot, and her general standoffish nature that she uses to separate herself from her fans has caused her to have trouble connecting with others. Still because Ponyville has become such an important place for her she has a few connections.

First and most importantly is her feelings and relationship with Twilight Sparkle. Twilight was the pony who humiliated her by not only being a better magic user, but a better Unicorn all around by expressing humility, kindness and a willingness to forgive others. This drove Trixie to hating Twilight Sparkle. Loathing her and wanting nothing more then to crush her spirit and humiliate her before taking away everything she loved. When Twilight proved herself to also be more clever at deception and manipulation then Trixie however and the corrupting influence of the Alicorn amulet was removed, Trixie realized what a fool she had been. She apologized and saw Twilight in a new light, saw Twilight the way everyone else sees her. Twilight has gained Trixie's respect.

Twilight's friends were particularly picked on during Trixie's corruption by the Alicorn amulet. This could be for any number of reasons not explicitly stated, but as far as relationships go, Rarity, Applejack and Rainbow Dash were the first three ponies to see through Trixie's boasting and stand up to her when she first came to Ponyville, and they were the first ones humiliated to entertain the crowd. When Trixie returned and began her reign of terror she also picked on Pinkie Pie by removing her mouth. Then after kicking Twilight out of town she made sure each of Twilight's friends was working for her in one capacity or another.

Finally there's Snips and Snails. They were Trixie's biggest fans when she first came to Ponyville despite how she treated their idol worship. She took full advantage of their willingness to preach to the other ponies about how great and powerful she really was! But their confidence and love for her was also the start of Trixie's downfall as they provided her with a chance to back up all her boastful talk and she failed miserably. When Trixie returned to ponyville she was particularly cruel to Snips and Snails, using them as targets during her magical duel with Twilight, manipulating their bodies in various ways. Then once she had kicked Twilight out of town she subjugated them, forcing them to drag her around town on a cart without wheels. They aren't fans of her any longer and she can understand why.

For all of her flaws, Trixie is a talented showpony, capable of weaving dramatic stories and holding a crowds attention for a time. When she puts her mind to something difficult such as saving up enough bits to purchase the Alicorn Amulet she comes through. And she is very aware of her limits and while she may try to make everyone else believe her greatness...she doesn't always feed into it herself.

SAMPLES

FIRST PERSON:
2.) What would you say is your greatest strength?
Why, stage presence of course! But that would be underselling all of the Great and Powerful Trixie's many many strengths and talents. For she is the most powerful Unicorn in all of Equestria! Haven't you heard? Listen well then as Trixie tells you that through all the land from Manehatten to the Canterlot all whisper the name of Trixie with excitement and respect! The Mistress of Magic, the beautiful and mysterious Trixie! So it simply does not make sense why anyone would deem it necessary to remove Trixie's powers if they want to get anything accomplished! Return them to Trixie at once and you will be spared her Great and Powerful retribution.

4.) What ability would you most like to have?

Foolish one, The Great and Powerful Trixie is capable of anything if she puts her mind and magic to it! Anything you can do I can do better! As Trixie has proven time and time again when faced with tasks that seemed impossible. Trixie makes the impossible almost seem simple! And best of all Trixie handles it with a style and flair that delights ponies young and old. I've stood my own against the best flier in Equestria, I saved Ponyville from an invasion of Moon Monsters led by Nightmare Moon herself! What more could Trixie ask for?

...well perhaps Trixie would like to learn how to play as many instruments at once as a pony she once saw. But given enough time I can do even better.

6.) What would make up your ideal friend?

Friends? HA! Too easy. The Great and Powerful Trixie's friend would have to be a fan of hers of course. Perhaps my biggest fan! Smart enough that Trixie can enjoy a conversation with her, but not so much of a pest that The Great and Powerful Trixie doesn't have her own space. We all need some alone time after all. Someone who could assist Trixie with her shows perhaps...

...perhaps someone who would respect Trixie and ignore those vicious rumors that were spread about her. (She mumbles and then coughs) O-of course all should be willing, eager and desperate to be so close to The Great and Powerful Trixie!

THIRD PERSON:

No horn.

No Magic.

And worst of all she was trapped in this awkward, unnatural form! Trixie gazed at herself in a mirror and sighed dropping her head down so she was staring at the sink instead of her reflection.

Her gaze then traveled down to her toes. They wiggled as if aware she was looking at them. Such curious things, what purpose did they serve? Did they somehow make such awkwardly shaped feet work better?

Nothing like hooves. Solid reliable hooves. She missed the sound her hooves made when she strolled across a stage. Proud and dramatic.

Bringing her gaze back up to the mirror she met her own stare. At least her eyes were the same. They were the sparkling beautiful eyes of a great and powerful pony who simply hadn't reached her peak yet.

"This is just...a minor setback." She consoled herself. "There's more to Trixie's show then just magic." She confessed to her reflection. This was a fact she had always known but never shared with anyone. While her magic played the larger role in every performance, she had rigged her cart with various effects to enhance the over all spectacle of it all. Fireworks, smoke bombs, these were things she didn't need magic to create...though it made things alot easier.

A knock at the door. Her "Partner" as they kept calling themselves. "Miss Trixie? Are you OK in there?"

Taking a deep breath Trixie let it out and flashed proud confident smile at her reflection one last time. She couldn't leave her adoring public waiting.

Throwing open the door and wishing she had a smoke bomb to make her entrance even more mysterious Trixie appeared with a dramatic flourish of her silky white hair.

"The Great and Powerful Trixie is MORE then all right little monster! Trixie is simply preparing her next move. Such a brilliant and beautiful pony such as Trixie must be allowed time to herself to think after all."

The monster looked quizzical for a moment and then grinned brightly. "Oh wonderful! So what will we do now Oh Great and Powerful Miss Trixie?"

Trixie didn't miss a beat but through a dramatic finger point directly at the Monster. "You little one claim to be Trixie's assistant? Well then it is time you assist!"

"Well...I would have gone with partner but-"

"Still talking!" Trixie interrupted wanting to keep the flow of conversation at her will, "Trixie will require some items if she is going to be able to perform her amazing feats! And first and foremost that will require a cart! A large one. Are you capable of providing such a thing?" She loomed over the monster standing as tall as she was able.

"I...well I mean...the city is kind of wrecked...I can try-"

"Then try you must! For the Great and Powerful Trixie will be working at her own tasks, learning about this world. When the time comes Trixie will perform magic the likes of which you have only imagined! And you will be overcome with pride that YOU were the one to aid Trixie in her time of need!"

Fired up by the images the little monster hopped up and down eagerly "Y-yes Miss Trixie! I'll start looking right now!" And was off like a shot from a bow, out the door on a quest to find Trixie a suitable cart.

Trixie let out a breath she wasn't aware she'd been holding, and her smile softened. Not a bad start. She had at least one fan for now. And if she could find new and interesting tricks to add to her act then perhaps in time she would have the audience she always craved once more.
